With fall/winter 2015 fashion shows, designers have declared main menswear next trends: shirts, jackets, trousers, suits and unique pieces of stylish underground, created to define the new season.
MILAN
Daring and bold, the Italian man dares the transformation, and steals pastel colours and silk from woman’s wardrobe. With great attention to environment, demonstrated in the choice of natural fibers, the Made in Italy presented in Milan showcases oversized sweaters, soft scarves, comfortable joggers, slightly vintage trousers with pleats, camel coats, and fur details.
LONDON
In London, the image is not just about looks, but also of words, such as those that give name to Matthew Miller (Resistant) and Alexander McQueen (Honour and Valour) collections. Words that summarize the most desirable quality for a garment: the durability. And as evidence of resistance, a new wool “non-deformable” fabric has been invented for suits: perfect for men who are used to long journeys. A brilliant idea to avoid the drama of wrinkled shirts and jackets after only a few hours.
PARIS
Paris reveals his fasion mood by offering chic and refined collections. Natural materials or technical farics, geometric patterns and atmosphere of the Seventies, stripes and tunics that replace shirts. Eccentric details are not missing, as the mix of French classicism and original punk/rock, evident on YSL catwalks, denim and unusual fabrics, and gold details. Classic colours, such as gray, black, blue, brightened by shades of burgundy and royal blue, sneakers worn with elegant suits, accessories galore and layering outfits.
