Men’s knitwear for Winter 2015

Fashion trends for next Fall-Winter 2014/2015

The new winter season is getting closer, and men’s fashion renews, giving particular importance to the new men’s knitwear collection, the great protagonist of winter 2015. Casual and streetwear look will go together with a more refined style, sporty but chic, and embellished with an unusual and vaguely glamour-dandy touch.

Even for men’s sweaters and pulls, the colour palette for this autumn/winter season includes beautiful classic hues, largely inspired by nature, hues of navy and green, warm colors of the earth, all shades of gray, anthracite, dark red, purple, and camouflage colours. Solid colours, but also diamonds, checks and plaid patterns in contrasting colours to brighten up the cold winter.

Speaking of the design, the volume of men’s pullovers and cardigans become bigger, forms have loose-fit, almost oversized models with sleeves that cover the hands, sweaters are soft, warm and wrapping, and details and finishings often include fur elements.

Men’s knitwear of the next winter will basically showcase a great return of classic garments, knitted pieces, tricot, wool sweaters, knitted jacquard pullovers typical of the snowy months, refined men’s angora and cashmere knits, ribbed and cable-knit pullovers, hand-woven with relief patterns.

Another evergreen, essential of all men’s collection, is the wool jacket, as the classic nordic model, in black or gray but also creamy white. Worn with classic trousers for a business look, or with a pair of jeans for a casual chic effect, it perfectly matches with a shirt or a long sleeve t-shirt, and it’s perfect in every context, both casual and elegant.
