From 18th to 21st June, Florence becomes once again the capital of men’s elegance and style with Pitti Uomo 84. This edition of the famous Italian fashion fair, as usual, involves professionals of fashion from all over the world, and introduces the hottest men’s fashion trends for summer of 2014.
Pitti Uomo 84 is made of special projects, innovative creations, special guests, and, of course, exiting previews of new collections. Over a thousand men’s fashion brands will partecipate, with stands and presentations of their creations, to this edition of the fashion fair, that commonly takes place at the Fortezza da Basso. Same place, at the same time, it’s also possible to discover what Pitti W 12 has to offer. At this feminine side of Pitti, 70 women’s collections will be shown to the pubblic and buyers. So we can only wait for an interesting immersion in all the trends and fashions of 2014.
The main theme for this 84th edition of Pitti Uomo is Vroom Pitti Vroom, it’s a celebration of the world of motorcycles and of the sensations of freedom, pleasure and passion related to biking. Those who love to ride on two wheels have their own way of being and Pitti Uomo 84 exhibits that lifestyle, in addition to the latest fashion trends for men. The Vroom Pitti Vroom theme will be maintained throughout all Pitti Fairs of the season; in the wind tunnels, created for the occasion, will be placed motorcycles of all kinds, old, new and original models, in addition to special projects never seen before. In addition to these fashionable bikes, we will discover some big names of racing, travel reportages and an exhibition of gorgeous vintage biking jackets that pays tribute to the most adventurous motorcyclists.
This year Turkish brands will be featured in fashion shows of Pitti Uomo 84, bringing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern atmosphere to the fashion fair. To add in the multicultural atmosphere, which nowadays strongly characterizes Pitti fairs, is a menswear designer from Japan: Junichi Abe. This designer founded the brand Kolor in 2004, reinventing men’s clothing with irony and humor, and is now the menswear’s special guest for Pitti Uomo 84.
