Xacus collection for Fall/Winter 2013-14 was showcased at Pitti Uomo 83 and we were there to document the event.
Xacus has always had a distinct stand at Pitti Uomo and this time was no different. The atmosphere reminds us of all the trends, in terms of features and colors, of the fall/winter 2013-14 and gives us kind of a far west feeling. Succulent plants of every style and measure, cactus, old boxes and wooden shelves, on which shirts of all kinds were exposed, all this made the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Among the green plants and cactus, the brown boxes and shelves, the Xacus shirts are not the only thing to stand out, in fact there are matching accessories next to these shirts, such as belts and scarfs, in addition to men’s shoes, to give some style ideas for everyone.
The shirts, of this fall/winter 2013-14 Xacus collection, have a sober and minimalistic design and the simplicity of these shirts makes them attractive and stylish, small collars and structured fabrics attract attention of the visitors. There are many fabrics used for this Xacus collection: Pin Point, Panama, Poplin and Oxford, always strictly 100% cotton and the real hit for the season are the wrinkle free materials, which maintain their ironed apparance for a long time. The colors of these men’s shirts are in line with the latest fashion trends for men: intense blue and light blue, bold red, burgundy, hints of brown and green, in addition to lilac and deep purple shades, all in all perfect colors for winter. Beyond these hues, also shades of grey are very in for the season, in fact there were many shirts showcased in different shades of grey, which are easy to match and always fashionable!
The line “Beluga washed” continues to be presented, this part of the Xacus collection is more sporty and trendy, with unstructured textiles and softer garments, washed or piece dyed, there are also some micro prints and stripes, in addition to melange effects. The materials range from Oxford to Twill and to soft flannel, as for the colors, grey melanges, burgundies, oranges, intense blues and shades of mustard yellow, were presented.
In our opinion Xacus always showcases impeccable and fascinating collections, that stand out, but are easy to wear and match at the same time. What do you think?
