Caliban shirt collection was presented, as usual, at Pitti Uomo 83 and we were there.
The Caliban stand was definitely curious and noticeable, in fact it was just like an authentic reproduction of an antique tailoring shop, wooden benches, shelves and drawers. This peculiarity surely teased the attention of passersby, but what really caught everybody’s eye and guaranteed an always crowded stand, was the collection itself.
So what are the main features of the Caliban men’s shirts for the Fall/Winter 2013-14? Above all, beautiful and soft colors of the garment dyed shirts. It was evident that the target of this stylish Caliban shirt collection, was a man who has a youthful taste and pays attention to details. These trendy and exclusive, but at the same time simple shirts, can be combined with other garments effortlessly and with ease, which is a prerogative for every man.
The Caliban fall/winter 2013-14 men’s shirt collection differs from the others shown at Pitti Uomo 83, thanks to the many details, which make every shirt different and unique, in fact most of these garments have the internal parts of the collar, cuffs and buttoned placket made in a contrasting fabric, sometimes even with the same color but with a different type of texture.
These shirts were shown in shades of five different colors: light blue, red, burgundy, dove-grey and brown. The choice of textiles includes many micro fantasies, small prints and narrow stripes, in addition to solid color shirts. This collection also had a few very unique shirts made in corduroy, warm and soft, but without being too heavy.
